Michelle Wilder
Michelle Wilder is the director of the Center for Service Learning at Kilgore College. She has been affiliated with the College as an English instructor for about ten years. Most recently, she chaired the Service-Learning Program Development Committee and the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Development Committee. Moreover, she represented Kilgore College as a participant and presenter in the Consortium Leadership and Renewal Academy (CLARA), the year-long regional leadership program created for member institutions of the North Texas Community College Consortium.
Prior to her affiliation with Kilgore College, Wilder worked in development as the founding executive director of the Henderson Memorial Hospital Foundation and as the executive director for United Way of Rusk County. Also, Wilder has served her community through fundraising projects and leadership roles with the Friends of the Library and the American Cancer Society.
Wilder earned her Master of Arts in interdisciplinary studies at the University of Texas at Tyler and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration at Baylor University.
