Closing the Gap Campaign


This exciting two-day conference at the Hilton Dallas Park Cities Hotel that will address a number of important and timely issues for the field of service-learning and the work community service directors nationwide. A brilliant group of speakers, presenters and facilitators has been gathered to create what promises to be unique and fun conference

There will also be information and trainings around Campus Compact's new National Student Civic Engagement Campaign and the Texas Campus Compact partnership with Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board "Closing the Gap Campaign".

The National Student Civic Engagement Campaign will offer community service directors across the country the opportunity to promote service-learning and civic education on their college campuses. Nick Longo the Director of the Campaign will be here to lead discussions around the Campaign and CSD's role in fostering student engagement on and off campus.

Dr. Alice White will speak about the Texas Campus Compact and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Partnership on "Closing the Gap Campaign".
